Most women never think about it, and if you do you're more likely to blow it
off as nothing too important anyway. However the facts behind nutrition and how
it directly connects to conceiving are the exact opposite. Your diet and overall
nutrition are actually VERY important when trying to conceive; especially if you
are having trouble getting pregnant in the first place...your diet alone could
make the difference.
Let's take a look at some very important issues and correlations between your
diet and your ability to get pregnant:
Are Your Eating Habits & Overall Diet Helping You Get Pregnant or Hurting
Your Chances?
Ladies...one of the most important issues you have to understand here, is
that your current diet, and well being BEFORE & DURING your attempts to
conceive can play a huge role in whether you are successful or not in the end.
The first thing that you should do is to seek the advice of your doctor or
ob-gyn regarding certain issues that you might very well be over looking. For
example, your doctor might determine that you are overweight for easy and
effective conception, or you might just be under weight, and thus, hurting your
ability to easily and properly conceive. Other factors that are important for
your doctor to look at are ones such as if your getting the right nutrients in
your diet on a daily basis, such as fiber or folic acid.
It's more than likely that your current diet and eating habits don't exactly
align with those that are needed for the optimal condition for you to get
pregnant, so your doctor will most likely want to make some changes to your
current eating diet. It might be as simple as just taking some prenatal vitamins
that supply most of the needed nutrients to your body for conception, or perhaps
your doctor might put you on a specific diet plan and exercise plan to achieve
an optimal condition for you to conceive. By structuring your diet and tweaking
your current health, you're not only putting yourself in a more likely state to
conceive, but you're also making sure that you're healthy and that your future
unborn child will be too.
Another extremely important issue is that you stop smoking, drinking, or
doing drugs if you are engaged in any of these activities. Not only do these
things drastically decrease your current health and have negative effects on
your attempt to conceive, but will almost surely damage the health of your
future child. Talk to your doctor about these issues in your lifestyle and how
they can affect the outcome of your efforts, and what you can do about them.
I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I've come across this issue
with others in my life. While most women will never do drugs or drink heavily
while trying get pregnant, or already pregnant, a lot of women just simply don't
understand that things that seem simple such as cigarettes and marijuana smoking
can have a huge negative effect on all your efforts to conceive and give birth
to a healthy child.
